I came across this pattern tonight and burst out laughing! This pattern is from 1951 and you will notice that it was designed for "chubbies." What the ...? Please no one take offense... I can laugh at this because I am a chubby. What I find especially crazy is that these girls on the front look anorexic. Would Dave Wright have yelled at them to "Get out of the pop, chubby?" No one else might find this funny, but I guarantee I've got some sissy's who will LOL!

That makes me laugh out loud. We were "chubbies." The boys were "huskies." Keep that pattern forever!
Oh my hell, someone get me some Depends! I can't stop laughing! Has our father seen this? By the looks of those gal's, we have a whole new definition of "chubby"!

That is so funny. People would go crazy if they put a label like Chubbies on something today. Wow. Ha Ha Ha!! I wonder what label they would have put on a real chubbie.
Chubbie? whatever. how about gorgeous. don't say that! I am offended....that you would say that about yourself! I love you so much!
I love it. My mom has a sign out by her hot tub that says
"I don't skinny dip, I chunky dunk'
It make me laugh every time!
And to think, back then, 'chubbies' wasn't derogatory or dirty. A simpler time!
