We made it to 10! Can you believe this guy has put up with a "Wright Chic" for what must seem like an eternity to him. But isn't that what we signed up for- eternity?!
Of course, after 10 years we're just us getting our feet wet. I love to watch seasoned couples who are going on 35 + years (ie: my in-laws) and I admire so much of what they have become. I see the patience, acceptance, and never-ending commitment these couples share with one another and hope to have that myself one day. Carole reminds me often that "marriage is for refinement" and isn't that the truth!
So thank you Brett for all your unconditional love and patience with me. I feel so blessed with you in my life and I thank you for being such a fabulous father and provider, a kind and giving husband, and just a good man all around! Looking forward to many more years of whatever life brings us! I know I can conquer all with you beside me... even pregnancy :) Fellow bloggers- more to come on that subject !!!

Congrats! Tony and I just hit our 9th anniversary and its crazy. Ever crazier when I realize we started dating 13 1/2 years ago. I guess we are getting old!
Thanks great Nic, congrats! Isn't is sad we have to get so excited to "make it another year"? So i know I'm reading into it, but was that an announcement for #4??? Hum, I'll have to wait :)
Nic, I remember your wedding like it was yesterday. You and Bret are so great together. I liked you from the moment we first met. I knew Bret chose well(you were definitely the best one he had dated)! A huge congrats on making it to ten, and on the other great news!! We feel so blessed to have you both as friends.

I am so happy for your and Brett at the 10 yr. mark. It is a huge accomplishment. BTW, I just found that 1998 wedding picture in my photos the other day. You were so pretty then, but somehow, you're even prettier now!

I can't comment because i'm crying right now. And NO, i'm not being sarcastic. Maybe it's your sweet Alabama tunes, I'm not really sure. But I do know, it seems like yesterday that Brett was framing away with Vegas, just minutes before your wedding. He not only survived that, but he's still around. What a saint and what a beautiful couple you are. I agree with Carole, that marriage in really a refiner's fire. Or in my world, maybe just out of the frying pan and into the fire. Oh wait, that's our family. Anyhow, I love the newest picture of you and J. Brett. It really captures your comfort with one another, which I think is a great thing. Now can we just get a picture of those beautiful bridesmaid dresses from your wedding? We could all use a good laugh.
